2017 Auditions
Will you be the next Monkey Business Institute Troupe Member?
Monkey Business Institute is holding auditions for new troupe members. The auditions will take place on the evenings of August 3rd and August 10th. Each date will have 4 audition slots for up to 5 people in each slot. Auditions will take place at 1709 S Park Street
Before signing up, please make sure you are prepared to commit to the following:
- Be available for a callback audition on August 12th from 10am-2pm.
- If you make it through callbacks, you must be willing to commit to a free accelerated 12-week Performance Track Class starting in September. The night is to be decided and the class will include some public performances.
- If you complete Performance Track class and are invited to the next step, you will become a probationary member of the troupe and will be expected to be available for a minimum of 8-10 shows/month for 6 months.
- If you make it through probation, you will be a full troupe member and will be expected to be available for the same minimum number of shows per month for the next year.
- You are committed to being a troupe member for at least 3 years.
Our expectations for new members are quite high. We are looking for committed performers willing to be consistently available for the long term. If you cannot meet these expectations, please do not audition.
