[Fall 2019] Level One: Introduction to Improv

Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, September 24 to November 12, 2019

Description: In Level One: Introduction to Improv, you’ll learn the fundamentals of improvised comedy in a fun, supportive setting!  We’ll teach you the basics of scene creation and collaborative creativity – in addition to some of the most popular improvised comedy games (games we regularly perform in our weekly shows)!  This class culminates with you and your classmates naming your team and putting on a performance for your family and friends!

Prerequisites: No prior experience of any kind is required, but you should love having fun!

Additional Information: This class is taught by Casem AbuLughod. The class show is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, November 12 at 7:30 pm. Classes are held at our classroom called The Vault at 1709 S. Park Street, Madison.  Student involvement is key to the success of your class experience. Regular attendance is required.  Inform your teacher if you will miss a class session. Two or more absences may jeopardize your participation in the class show.
