[Spring 2019] Level Six: Other Improv Schools and Philosophies
Mondays from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, April 8 to May 27, 2019
Description: After 10+ years of running classes, Monkey Business Institute has hundreds of students who have graduated our improv school by completing all five levels of classes. So we have decided to start a series of “Master Level” classes covering various topics as designed by our most experienced teachers or requested by students. In this course, we will look at other philosophies and schools of thought in the larger improv world. Monkey Business Institute certainly has its own unique style, but it is only one of countless ways that the art form of improv can be approached.
Prerequisites: Completion of Monkey Business Institute’s Level Five class or instructor permission.
Additional Information: Level Six is taught by Brad Knight. Class show is May 27th at 7:30 pm. Classes are held at our classroom called The Vault at 1709 S. Park Street, Madison. Student involvement is key to the success of your class experience. Regular attendance is required. Inform your teacher if you will miss a class session. Two or more absences may jeopardize your participation in the class show.
