Calling all musical improv lovers: Monkey Business Institute is thrilled to present its first ever three‑day Musical Improv Intensive this November.
Yes, And… Sing! is an immersive weekend designed for improvisers who have completed Level 1 Improv and Level 1 Musical Improv and want to deepen their musical storytelling, ensemble work, and performance skills.
You’ll spend the weekend at Art House 360 and Theater Lila — two of the Madison area’s most beautiful creative spaces — training with teachers who have been performing musical improv together in MBI’s short-form and long-form improv shows and its long-running signature musical improv show The Music Department.
With small groups, rotating teachers, live keyboardists, and dedicated rehearsal time, participants will have plenty of space to play, explore, and grow. The weekend ends with a full student showcase for family and friends.
